StudyCove is a study app made by one person. Here’s who that is, and how it’s run.
Who’s behind it
I’m Eric Aytekin, a student developer in the UK. I design, build and run StudyCove myself, on the web and, soon, on the Mac.
I wanted one place for the whole of studying: planning the day, timing focus, testing myself on what I’d written, and seeing where the hours went. Most study apps do one of those and leave the rest to four other apps. StudyCove does them together, and each part is a module you can switch on or off, so it fits the way you study rather than the other way round.
How it’s run
- StudyCove is independent. It’s run by me as a sole trader based in England, with no investors and no adverts.
- It’s free to use while it grows.
- Your account is an email address and nothing else. There are no cookies, no analytics and no tracking, and your notes are never sold or shared. The privacy policy has the detail.
- It’s built in the open: the roadmap says what’s coming, and shipped lists every change.
