Who you’re agreeing with

StudyCove is run by Eric Aytekin, a sole trader based in England (“we”, “us”). By using StudyCove you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.

Using StudyCove

• You need to be 16 or over.
• Your account is tied to your email address, and anybody who can read that inbox can sign in. Keep it secure, and tell us at hello@studycove.app if you think someone else has access.
• One person per account, please.

What you put in

What you write in StudyCove stays yours. You give us permission to store, sync and show it back to you, which is only what’s needed to run the service. We don’t look at your library unless you ask us to help with a problem, or the law requires it.

Please don’t use StudyCove to break the law, to upload anything harmful, to get into other people’s accounts, or to overload or attack the service, including with automated sign-ups.

The service

StudyCove is free to use at the moment. It’s still growing, so features will change, and some may be added or removed: the roadmap says what’s coming. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll say what they cost before you pay anything, and nothing you already use will start charging without your agreement.

We work hard to keep StudyCove running and your library safe, but we can’t promise it will never be unavailable or never have a fault. Settings has Export, so keep your own copy of anything you can’t afford to lose.

Ending things

You can stop using StudyCove and delete your account in Settings at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we ever shut StudyCove down, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice where we can, so you have time to export your library.

Responsibility

StudyCove is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable when you started using it, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t let us limit, and they don’t affect your legal rights as a consumer.

Changes and the law

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it, and we’ll tell you about any change that matters before it applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings there.
