Terms of Service
Last updated 17 May 2026.
StudyCue is operated by Eric Aytekin, a sole trader based in England & Wales ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use StudyCue. Questions: hello.studycue@gmail.com.
StudyCue is a study-planning and revision support product for UK A-Level students. It is a tool to help you plan, practise, and revise. It is not a substitute for your teachers, your school, your exam board, or professional advice. We do not guarantee exam outcomes.
You must be at least 13 years old to use StudyCue. If you are under 18, please use the service with your parent or guardian's awareness.
Provide accurate information when you sign up, keep your login credentials secure, and use the service only through your own account. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
Don't abuse the AI features (including attempts to bypass rate limits or extract training data); don't scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service; don't try to access another user's data; and don't use StudyCue in violation of applicable law or your school's or exam board's rules.
Plans, summaries, questions, flashcards, and essay feedback generated by the AI are aids — not authoritative answers. They may contain mistakes. You are responsible for checking outputs against your specification, mark scheme, and teaching materials before relying on them.
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from settings; your access continues until the end of the paid period. We offer a 14-day refund window on the first month's charge of a paid plan — email us within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund the most recent payment. After that, we don't offer refunds for partial periods.
Your notes, flashcards, essays, and other content remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to process them only as needed to provide the service (e.g. send them to our AI provider to generate a response, store them in our database, render them back to you).
You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, abuse the service, or if continuing to provide access would create security, legal, or operational risk. Where appropriate we'll give you notice first.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period (or £20 if you were on the free tier). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be heard exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be surfaced in-app before they take effect. Continued use of StudyCue after a change means you accept the new terms.
